KFS Finland strengthens its position with a new acquisition

KFS is pleased to announce the purchase of Sotkamon Porapaalu Oy, as of today, the 9th June 2017.

For the last twenty years’ Sotkamon has built an enviable reputation in piling and in particular in large diameter DTHH drilling, gaining a reputation for high quality and reliable execution. The company has been particularly active in developing innovative drilling methods and has several associated patents.

KFS, the joint venture company between Keller PLC and Kreate Oy has been growing steadily over the last five years and is now a recognised force in geotechnical contracting in the region.

“Having Sotkamon in the business will enable us to offer another range of solutions to our customers”, commented Teuvo Kulmala, KFS MD. “With KFS’s design input and with the financial backing of the shareholders we can meet the demands of the largest and technically complex projects.
